QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We as AGTHIA TURKEY a part of AGTHIA GROUP PJSC looking for talented Purchase Expert. Our new colleague to handle all domestic purchasing and logistic needs for the specific projects. The Procurement Specialist will work acc. to directives of Purchasing & Planning Manager. 

 This position is needed below responsibilities;    

            Job overview

  • ·         Procurement specialist,  generally manage contracts with a company’s vendors to ensure best prices. 
  • ·          oversee the ordering of materials a business uses in producing goods.
  • ·         Procurement specialist analyze costs, negotiate contract details, and offer strategies and solutions to help companies better manage costs on supplies and vendor services.
  • ·         Additional duties include managing inventory, tracking orders, resolving issues concerning price disputes, and making bids for a vendor’s services.


             Responsibilites

  • ·          Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
  • ·         Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
  • ·         Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
  • ·         Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organisation.
  • ·         Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
  • ·         Provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost reduction activities.
  • ·         Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
  • ·         Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
  • ·         Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
  • ·         Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules.
  • ·         Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
  • ·         Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships.

  • ·         Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities 
  • ·         Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations

         

            Qualifications For This Job:

  • ·         University degree at related fields
  • ·         Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistic related departments.      
  • ·         Very Good Command of English,
  • ·         Proficiency in MS Office Applications,
  • ·         Analytical Thinking, Result and Quality oriented approach and good interpersonal skills are required,
  • ·         Successful in human relations,
  • ·         Excellent problem solving skills,
  • ·         Military service should be completed for male candidates,
  • ·         No obligation for travel and driving license required.
  •           ERP knowledge is an advantage
